|I have decided to condense our rules into one sticky. If you feel I left anything out, feel free to PM me!
Post about owls. This is an owl website, so you should post in sections other than Open Discussion. Get involved in role play, discuss the latest Kathryn Lasky novel, or post your own literature.
Be respectful to others. You don't have to agree with everything someone says, but you do have to be respectful. If you don't like someone, don't respond to them. We ask that you have a mature attitude when posting. If you feel someone is being disrespectful, PM a moderator.
Stay positive while posting. While many of us have personal struggles and depression, the Owl Fantasy Forum is not the place to discuss these issues. If you feel comfortable talking to one of our members about your problems, do so through PMs, not on the board.
Do not give out personal information. There are many predators out there, and the smallest bits of information about what you look like, the city you live in, and what school you go to could put you or someone else in danger. Anyone posting personal information about themselves or any of our members need to be reported to a moderator ASAP so the posts can be deleted.
Stay on topic. It makes topics hard to read when there are off-topic posts. If you post off topic, the moderators may delete posts or lock the topic. Stickies have been created to discuss all video games, Warriors, and websites. IF you are posting in the website section, do not discuss the website- simply post the website with a brief description.
Post meaningfully. Posts like "wow" or "that's cool" aren't meaningful. Post questions, well thought out responses, complete sentences, etc. Short, meaningless posts clutter up topics and aren't interesting to read.
Your signatures must be a reasonable size. Large signatures mean fewer posts per page. If you must have two signatures, put them side by side. If you are asked to make your signature smaller, please do it right away so we don't have to delete your signature for you. We have several members who would be happy to resize your signature if it is too large. All you have to do is ask!
YES we have Open Discussion, and YES that means (almost) anything goes, but if a moderator locks a topic, please respect his or her decision to do so. We have the best interests of the OFF in mind. If you have a question about something, just ask!
